The subdivision of Cherry Creek can be divided into at least 2 sections. The first was built in the early 70’s was a highly sought after area in South Austin. The entrance to Cherry Creek is located to the west of Manchaca at Stassney Lane. The new modern style homes were built on large lots with trees, and had all the newest designs and features. It was close to small shops and new schools. I was considered a very desirable neighborhood. The new section of Cherry Creek follows the same path. It continues almost as far south as Slaughter Lane, west to Brodie Lane.
Buyers seem to like the modern designs and features in the homes, the community park and tree lined streets. Plus all the shopping and dining close by can make daily living a little less stressful.
